Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or purchasing any product from The Pep Shop ("The Pep Shop," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this site or purchase our products.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and purchasing on behalf of a legitimate research, laboratory, or institutional capacity to use this site. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Research Use Only
All products sold by The Pep Shop are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, or cosmetics, and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or any human or animal use. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. You agree that you will not use, or represent, these products for human or animal consumption, clinical use, or compounding. You further agree not to resell, re-brand, repackage, relabel, or redistribute any product in any form, except under a separate written agreement with us, and not to remove, alter, or obscure any label, lot number, or identifier.
4. Orders, Pricing & Availability
All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders at our discretion — including if we suspect a buyer intends to use products outside their intended research scope. Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use this site or our products to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) misrepresent your identity or research purpose; (c) resell, re-brand, repackage, relabel, or redistribute any product in any form, except under a separate written agreement with us; (d) infringe on our intellectual property or that of any third party; or (e) engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful conduct.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and product descriptions — is owned by or licensed to The Pep Shop and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.
The sale of any product does not grant, and must not be interpreted as granting, any licence or right under any patent, patent application, or other intellectual property held by us or by any third party. Listing a compound on this site is not a representation that its manufacture, use, or sale is free from the patent rights of others. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use infringes any third-party rights, and for obtaining any licence that use may require.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
This site and all products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that products will meet your specific research requirements.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pep Shop and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or this site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any use of our products outside their stated research purpose.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pep Shop from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our products, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be so modified, severed from these Terms. In either case, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of any other.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. Who We Are and What This Covers
The Pep Shop LLC, a California limited liability company ("The Pep Shop", "we", "us"), operates yourpepshop.com. We are a United States supplier of laboratory research materials, and we are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy covers personal information collected through our website — when you create an account, complete the research-access attestation, place an order, contact support, or subscribe to our emails.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details. We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for analytics and fraud prevention purposes. When you confirm or decline our age verification prompt, we record that response along with a timestamp, IP address, browser information, and the research role you selected, to maintain a record that this verification step occurred.
Order attestation. When you place an order, we record a second research-use confirmation alongside that order, including the date and time, your IP address, and the version of our terms you were shown. We collect this as evidence that the confirmation was made, and to enforce our Terms. We treat it as a compliance record and keep it as described in Section 6.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and fulfill orders, communicate with you about your order or inquiries, improve our website and services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information to make any health-related inferences or recommendations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
We disclose personal information to service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, solely to perform the function described. Those functions are:
- Payment processing and fraud prevention — to authorize and settle your payment, calculate applicable sales tax, and issue receipts. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Order fulfillment and shipping — to pick, pack, label and ship your order, and to generate carrier tracking.
- Account and order data storage — to hold your account credentials, order history and delivery address.
- Transactional email delivery — to send order confirmations, shipping notifications and account emails.
- Website hosting and infrastructure — to serve this website and its checkout.
Each provider receives only the information it needs for its function. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We keep different information for different periods:
Order and transaction records — seven years, for tax and accounting purposes.
Research-use attestations — seven years, or longer where needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Account records — for the life of the account, then twenty-four months.
Support messages — twenty-four months.
Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, after which we keep your address on a suppression list only, so that we do not email you again by mistake.
Analytics records — according to the provider's retention setting, typically fourteen to twenty-six months.
We keep information longer where the law requires it, or where it is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; to obtain a copy; to correct inaccuracies; to request deletion; to obtain a portable copy; to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise a right, email info@yourpepshop.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details associated with your account or a recent order — and respond within the period required by applicable law, generally 45 days, which may be extended once where permitted. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. You will not be denied service, charged a different price, or given a lower quality of service.
A note on attestation records. Where you ask us to delete your information, we may retain research-use attestation records where keeping them is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We will tell you if this applies to your request.
8. Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, and we will not load advertising tags for that visit. You can also change your analytics choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in our footer.
9. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of targeted advertising. Use the same contact method described above. Where your state provides an appeal process, you may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the period your state requires.
10. Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed to children. Access requires an attestation that the visitor is at least 21 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have collected information from a person under 21, we will delete it and cancel any associated order. A parent or guardian who believes we hold such information can contact us at info@yourpepshop.com.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Cookie Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help a site function properly and let us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage entries required for the site to work — for example, remembering that you've confirmed our age verification prompt or completed our account creation step at checkout so you aren't asked again on your next visit, and keeping track of items in your cart during your session. These are functional and are not used for advertising.
3. Analytics Cookies — Only With Your Consent
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited and how visitors move through our site. This information is used only in aggregate to improve the site. It is not used for advertising, and we do not sell or share it.
Analytics does not run unless you allow it. On your first visit you'll be asked whether to accept analytics cookies. If you decline, or simply don't answer, no Google Analytics script is loaded at all — it isn't blocked after the fact, it's never requested. If you accept, we also enable IP anonymization, so the last part of your IP address is discarded before Google stores it.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page. Your choice is remembered on your own device only.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics may set its own cookies in your browser, subject to Google's own privacy and cookie practices. We do not control these third-party cookies directly. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your information.
5. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. You can also clear your browser's local storage to reset saved preferences on this site. Please note that blocking essential cookies or local storage may affect site functionality, including access to our catalog or your ability to keep items in your cart.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Shipping Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. Where We Ship
We ship within the United States only, including Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories served by USPS. We do not ship internationally, and we cannot forward orders to freight forwarders or international reshipping services.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
The estimates below include both order processing and carrier transit time. They are estimates provided by the carrier, not guarantees, and may be affected by weather, holiday volume, carrier staffing, and other factors outside our control.
USPS Ground Advantage (Standard) — 3 to 7 business days
USPS Priority Mail — 2 to 5 business days
USPS Priority Mail Express — 2 to 5 business days, overnight in many areas
3. Order Processing Times
Orders are processed Monday through Friday. The daily cut-off is 1:00 PM Eastern Time — orders placed after that time, on weekends, or on an observed holiday begin processing the next business day. Order processing typically takes 1 to 2 business days before a package is handed to the carrier. During periods of unusually high volume or supply chain disruption, processing may take up to 5 business days.
4. Observed Holidays
No orders are processed or shipped on the following days: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Orders placed on these dates begin processing the next business day.
5. Tracking
A tracking number is emailed to you once your shipping label is created. Tracking information is maintained by the carrier and may take up to 24 hours to begin updating after a label is generated. A label created but not yet scanned does not mean your order has not shipped.
6. Multiple Packages
We make every effort to ship all items in an order together. Larger orders may be split across multiple packages, in which case you may receive more than one tracking number for a single order.
7. Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not able to modify an address once an order has entered processing. Orders returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at your expense.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Undelivered Packages
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, we are unable to issue a replacement or refund unless shipping protection was purchased at checkout. We recommend contacting your local carrier facility and checking with neighbors or building management first, as carriers occasionally mark packages delivered up to 24 hours before actual delivery.
If a package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier — meaning tracking has not updated and delivery was never completed — contact us and we will work with the carrier to locate it.
9. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the service you select and are non-refundable once an order has shipped, including on orders where a product credit is issued.
10. Contact
Shipping questions can be directed to info@yourpepshop.com. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.
Return & Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. All Sales Are Final
Because we sell research compounds requiring controlled storage and handling, we cannot verify the storage conditions of any item once it has left our fulfillment center, and returned product cannot be resold. All sales are therefore final, and we do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, ordering the wrong product or size, or no longer needing an item.
The only exceptions are the product issues described in Section 2.
2. Product Issues We Cover
We will replace or credit your order if any of the following applies:
— You received a different product than the one you ordered, or an item with an incorrect label
— The product was past its expiration date on arrival
— The container's seal or cap arrived broken, damaged, or open
— Your order never arrived and tracking never showed delivery
3. How to Report a Problem
Contact us at info@yourpepshop.com within 3 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the problem along with the lot number and expiration date printed on the product tag. We cannot process a claim without photo documentation.
Claims submitted more than 3 days after delivery cannot be accommodated. This window is short because issues of this kind are visible on inspection, and because our own claim window with our fulfillment partner is limited.
4. Resolution
Approved claims are resolved by replacement at no cost to you, or by a refund, at your choice. You do not need to return the item. Replacements are subject to product availability; if a replacement cannot be fulfilled, we will issue a refund instead.
5. Packages Marked Delivered
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you did not receive it, we cannot issue a replacement or refund unless shipping protection was purchased at checkout. Please see our Shipping Policy for steps to take in this situation.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before they enter fulfillment, which typically begins within one business day. Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
7. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are not refundable once an order has shipped, including on orders where a product refund or replacement is issued.
8. Contact
For any return or refund inquiry, email info@yourpepshop.com with your order number. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.
Research Compliance
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. Intended Use
All products sold by The Pep Shop are labeled and sold strictly for research use only (RUO) and in-vitro laboratory testing. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, and are not to be ingested, injected, inhaled, applied, administered, or introduced into any living organism by any means, for any purpose.
Our products are none of the following:
- a drug, prescription medication, or compounded pharmaceutical;
- a food, beverage, food additive, or food ingredient;
- a dietary supplement or nutritional product;
- a cosmetic or personal care product;
- a medical device or diagnostic tool;
- a biologic under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
They have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are not approved to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease or condition in humans or animals.
2. What We Are Not
The Pep Shop is a supplier of research materials. We are not a compounding pharmacy as defined in Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and we are not an outsourcing facility as defined in Section 503B. We hold no registration, license, or authority to manufacture, compound, dispense, or distribute any product for human or animal use, and we make no claim to any.
3. Buyer Certification
By purchasing from The Pep Shop, you certify that you are at least 21 years of age; that you are a qualified researcher, laboratory, or institution, or are otherwise lawfully engaged in in-vitro research; that you understand these products are for laboratory research use only; and that you will handle, store, and dispose of them in accordance with applicable law and standard laboratory practice.
You further agree that you will not resell, re-sell, re-brand, repackage, relabel, or redistribute any product in any form, except under a separate written agreement with us; will not remove, alter, or obscure any label, lot number, or identifier; and will not combine, compound, dilute, reconstitute, or formulate any product for administration to any human or animal.
4. No Medical Claims, and No Use Guidance
Nothing on this website, in our product listings, or in our communications should be interpreted as a medical, therapeutic, or health claim. Any description of structural or mechanistic properties is provided solely to characterize the material being sold, and is not a claim of any effect in humans or animals.
We do not provide, and will not provide, guidance on reconstitution, dilution, dosing, combination, cycling, administration, or any other preparation for use in or on a living organism. Requesting such guidance is a breach of these terms. Our team will decline these requests. Where a customer repeats them, or where any communication leads us to reasonably believe a product is intended for a purpose other than lawful in-vitro research, we will cancel pending orders, refund unfulfilled amounts, and decline future sales.
5. Testing & Documentation
All products are independently tested by a qualified third-party laboratory. Batch-specific Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available upon request and verify purity, identity, sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals for the applicable lot.
6. Regulatory Compliance
We monitor current FDA guidance regarding research-use-only labeling and adjust our practices accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse service to any buyer we reasonably believe intends to use our products outside their intended research scope.
7. Your Obligations
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our products complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing research chemicals in your jurisdiction.
Some compounds we supply may not appear on the chemical substance inventory maintained under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Materials supplied for research and development may fall within applicable exemptions, but those exemptions carry conditions — including supervision by technically qualified individuals and appropriate handling and recordkeeping. You are responsible for confirming that your intended use falls within an applicable exemption or is otherwise permitted, and for meeting any conditions that apply.
8. Contact
Compliance-related questions can be directed to info@yourpepshop.com.
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026 · Version TPS-TERMS-2026-08-23
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy describes conduct that is not permitted on yourpepshop.com. It adds to, and does not replace, our Terms & Conditions. Any violation of this policy is a material breach of those Terms.
2. Automated Access and Data Extraction
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
- use any bot, crawler, scraper, headless browser, scripted agent, or automated tool to access or retrieve content from this site, other than well-behaved search engine indexers operating within our robots.txt;
- copy, mirror, or systematically extract our product listings, pricing, images, or documentation, beyond a single copy for your own research evaluation;
- use any content from this site to train a machine learning, artificial intelligence, or generative model without our prior written permission;
- reverse engineer any part of this site, or bypass any rate limit, access control, or security measure;
- probe or scan this site for vulnerabilities without our prior written authorization;
- place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
3. Accounts
One account per person. You agree not to create multiple accounts, share your account, use another person's account, or register with false or misleading information — including a false statement of research affiliation. Account credentials are your responsibility, and you agree to tell us promptly if you believe yours have been compromised.
4. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If something is wrong with your order, contact us first at info@yourpepshop.com and give us a fair opportunity to put it right. We would much rather fix a problem than dispute one.
You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us in good faith. Filing a dispute for an order that was delivered as described, or on grounds inconsistent with our Return Policy, is a material breach of our Terms. Where that occurs, we may close your account, decline future orders, refuse service to associated payment methods and shipping addresses, report the dispute to the payment processor and relevant fraud-prevention services, and pursue recovery of the disputed amount together with any fees and reasonable costs incurred.
You also agree not to use a payment method you are not authorized to use, and not to use any promotional or referral code in a way inconsistent with its stated terms.
5. Communications and Claims
You agree not to submit content or send communications that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or invasive of another person's privacy, and not to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
You further agree not to make any therapeutic, medical, diagnostic, or efficacy claim about any product we sell — in correspondence with us, in any review or comment, or on social media referencing this site. Our products are sold for laboratory research only, and such claims are inconsistent with that basis of sale.
6. Security and Lawful Use
You agree not to introduce malicious code to this site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system, or use this site in violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party — including for fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
7. If This Policy Is Breached
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice: remove or restrict content; suspend or close your account; cancel pending orders and decline future ones; block payment methods, shipping addresses, or network addresses reasonably associated with the breach; pursue any civil remedy available to us; and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
8. Reporting
If you see conduct on this site that appears to breach this policy, please tell us at info@yourpepshop.com with as much detail as you can, including dates and times.
